Personal project
froo.watch
There is only one correct order in which to watch, or rewatch, a franchise: the order it was released in. froo.watch is the reference for that order, from Star Trek to the Arrowverse to Cheers, with where to stream each entry, notes on crossovers, and a rewatch tracker that needs no sign-in.
About
The site is a static build on Cloudflare Pages: every franchise page is generated ahead of time, so it is fast everywhere and costs almost nothing to run. Progress tracking lives in the browser and syncs between devices through a short share code backed by Workers KV, which means there is nothing to sign up for and nothing stored that identifies a person.
It is also where I try things out in public: offline support, calendar subscriptions for upcoming episodes, and the editorial judgement calls (how to treat an unproduced backdoor pilot, where a crossover episode belongs) that make a watch order useful rather than merely complete.
Created initially by hand, this project has now migrated to being maintained, content and features, primarily by AI agents. Adding an entire new franchise is now a single line prompt, triggering the required research and site updates autonomously.
Updates
froo.watch keeps its own log of what has changed, from new franchises to new features.
